This no. Claiming to be Barclays fraud has called me daily and the calls are getting earlier which is annoying as I am being woken up from my sleep. Why donβt they get the message not to call me if I am Not responding to them? I expect it to be genuine if my bank wrote to me first.

Geniune Barclays Fraud Team. We had a business card that was declining. I received a message from this number, and called back. Answered a few standard security questions, and card was released. Agent waited on phone whilst i retried transaction, at which point it was successful.

Automated female voice, asks for the caller by name and talks about recent activity on your card. You are then told to press any number on your phone to hear more. My guess is that if you do this you will be charged for the phone call. They ring early in the morning which is annoying and then try again if you put the phone down l just block them on BT Call protect which is free, hopefully that will get rid of these pests.

Tried to say it was from barclays fraud team, it wasnt. Had the texts then the phonecall and they asked for card number date of birth and tried to say there was money coming out of my bank regarding digital services. Hung up phoned the number on the back of my card they clarified it wasnt them and there definitely is no money coming out or any unusual activity.

Received an automated message purporting to be from Barclays saying there had been attempted fraudulent activity on my old Barclaycard and that they would text me details. This they did, saying that they would call me from 01628778331. The scammers have ways of making a call appear to come from a genuine number. The call appeared to come from this number and they asked for my new card number and DoB. After the call was finished, I thought about it and called the Barclay's Customer Service number

Got a call from this number. It was an automated call for my son, who they named in person, and said that there had been some unusual activity and they wanted to check with him that everything was OK. Called twice this morning while I was still in bed. I had an online transaction declined by Barclays the night before. It was Barclays calling to question my transaction, because I tried to pay for something online while using a Proxy Addon on my browser. The system detected this and alerted Barclays that someone was trying to use my card abroad.
